1. Can we offer new solutions for the walking paths near the river?
This is completely up to you as a team, just keep in mind how relevant would that be for the main design requirements.
2. Should we use the existing pier, or can we offer a new pier design?
same as previous answer, this is completely up to you as a team, keeping in mind how relevant that is to the main design requirements.
3. Should we protect the green areas around the land, or can we offer a new landscape design?
Your proposal should be on the actual proposed lot where you can design whatever you like as long as if fits the requirements. You are not expected to intervene onto the surroundings
4. Can we design spaces underground?
It is up to you, as long as there is a clear rational reason for that and you have studied and show the potential impact (negative or positive) of such an action, and the positive impact this action will have onto your proposal
5. In the context of land and river connection, can we offer a new bridge connecting the land to the other side of the river?
You could, but why would you do it if it is not in the requirements
6. For the charging station, can we propose mechanical parking systems?
No, there is no need for such a system, it is not required to have a mechanical parking system for this project.
7. How many people/artisans should the project have?
We have not set any specific number of people or artisans or users, this is kept for the participant to suggest as long as it fits within their proposal as well as it fits within the total required area of the competition.
8. what is the duration of the users or artisan stay in the project?
The stay should be flexible enough so that it can cater for short term (couple of days) to medium term, a week to a couple of weeks) to an extended stay a couple of months.
9. The 200 charging stations are equivalent to 200 car parks?
Yes. That is correct each charging station is equivalent to one car.
10. We are not able to read the levels of the site and adjacent roads and river.
The main road and the plot are at 9m (above sea level)
The biking/pedestrian path next to the river are at 7m,
and the river is at 5m
