Did you know that at Dar[e] we have a research department where participants (students or researcher) can learn and undertake their own research under the guidance and supervision of Dar[e].

This is usually done within specific research and the results are usually published in international conferences. So far, with one researcher, we participated in one online conference during the pandemic in Turkey. We travelled all the way to Chile to present another paper at the PLEA conference in November 2022. In late spring 2023, another paper got accepted in Building Simulation 2023 conference, to be held in China in September 2023.

Will you be the next independent researcher?

Do you have the time, and most importantly the excitement to learn and do research?

This is a part time learning position where you will be focusing on developing your own research and writing skills, at your own pace, yet will have to meet the deadline of the next conference.

You will also have to attend lectures, courses and or workshops (around/up to 60 hours) that will introduce you to the various research methodology within sustainable design. 

The typically you can have your master’s degree in sustainable design, or your bachelor degree, or still an undergrad student. The lectures will cover the areas of knowledge that you need to develop. You just need to have good time management to juggle easily between your career and your research learning process. Most importantly you should be eager to learn new analytical skills and scientific reasoning.
